Notaries and Witnesses are needed to support the Chesterfield Lawyers Helping Seniors Day, being held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Village Bank, 15521 Midlothian Turnpike (near the intersection of Midlothian Turnpike & 288).
Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Advance Medical Directives will be prepared and executed free of charge for Chesterfield’s eligible seniors and individuals with disabilities.
This event is sponsored by the Chesterfield Office of the Senior Advocate, James River Rotary Club, The Chesterfield Bar Association, and Williams Mullen.
Here is the Lawyers Helping Seniors Day flier. Note that this is scheduled for a week day; it is understandable if you are not able to assist.
(For those of you who are notaries, click here for the text of the ‘oath ceremony’ used when notarizing a will…keep for your records if you don’t have it already.)
If you are available to assist as a notary or witness, please let me know and I can put you in contact with the person coordinating this event.
