RPA - 2008 Janet Scott Scholarship

TO PROVE IT, RPA is giving away one Scholarship

The Janet Scott Scholarship is an award in the amount of $250, the cost of applying for and taking the CLA/CP Exam or the Advanced Paralegal Certification Exam(APC)(Cost of each: $250 for NALA members or $275 for non-NALA members). Simply fill out the form below and return it to RPA by November 1, 2008. The winning name will be drawn at RPA's Annual Meeting on November 18, 2008. You must be present to win.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The drawing is open to RPA active, student and provisional members.

Entrant must fulfill NALA's requirements for eligibility for taking the CLA/CP Exam or APC Exam. These are: (1) graduation from an approved paralegal program; OR (2) a bachelor's degree plus one year's experience as a paralegal; OR (3) seven years experience as a paralegal. Recipient must be present at the November dinner meeting to claim the award. Winner will have up to two 92)years to take the exam/redeem the award. This drawing is retroactive to include those individuals who have already taken the CLA/CP Exam or APC Exam in 2008.

RPA will submit the appropriate fee directly to NALA on behalf of the winning applicant, except in cases where the applicant has already submitted an application and fee as of the date of the drawing, in which case RPA will reimburse the individual directly, upon proof of payment.

RPA will not be responsible for the cost of re-taking any sections of the exam, and any and all refunds will go back to RPA.
