Certified Paralegal Exam

The NALA Certifying Board hopes to expand testing areas for the Certified Paralegal Exam.  As of now, there are only three ACT testing centers inVirginia.  Locations can be found on the NALA web site.

Facts & Findings (a NALA publication)

Facts & Findings has been discounted to affiliate non-members.  RPA members are eligible for a special rate of $25 for an annual subscription (a $10 savings).  To take advantage of this special rate, email donna.strauss@richmondparalegals.org.

NALA Campus Live!

NALA Campus Live! courses have been broadened and have increased to fifty courses this fall.  Courses can be bundled to meet the needs of employers.  Registration fees are $80 per course for NALA members, and $105 for non-members.  Members can use their $80 gift certificate for a course or to help defray the cost of any NALA educational program.

The NALA Campus Live! Fall Program begins August 2011 and runs through December 2011.  Each course lasts from 90 minutes to two hours.  Courses range from practice tips to substantive law topics.  Many of the courses are suitable as preparation for the Certified Paralegal Exam.  For more information, go to www.nala.org/onlineed.aspx where you can find course abstracts, dates and times of presentations, and background on instructors. 

In addition to NALA Campus Live!, NALA offers NALA Campus Self Study.  These continuing education courses are available on your schedule, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  You can find more information at www.nala.org/onlineed.aspx.

Certified Paralegal Exam

The next Certified Paralegal exam is scheduled for the month of January 2012.  The deadline to register for the exam is December 1, 2011.  More information can be found under the Certification tab on the NALA website at www.nala.org.
